Blessed and thankful, these pictures are a accumulation of 30 yrs of time in the whitetail woods of hunting broken farm ground and wood lots. And passing hundreds of younger deer and only hunting small portions of each property leaving a portion(sanctuary ) undisturbed. I give all the glory and praise to god i can truly say that hunting was a tool god used to save my life . Thank you Jesus

Hard to grow them. They just have to get through the nets. Even the best managed properties aren't bullet proof. Poachers, roaming bucks, injuries and the roads take many big deer out of the picture. Been there. When you bag a 150 plus deer in hard hunted turf, you have done something 99% of us will never do.
If you shoot any legal buck whenever you have the chance, you are 99% assured you will never shoot a 150 class buck.
It always seems the norm that some of the biggest bucks are killed by a 1st time hunter or a lucky guy at the right place at the right time.

Beans great to have ya! My father always said if you shoot young bucks you will never kill mature bucks. I hunt southeastern Indiana with alot of hunting pressure and i believe giving deer a sanctuary and bedding is very key.
