Well the shoot went very well, several guys bugged out I think due to the cold but the storm troopers toughed it out. We woke up to snow Saturday morning and it was pretty cool but turned out to be a nice morning to shoot. Some pretty good groups were shot and everyone had a great time. Food was good as was the fellowship, we met some new friends and old friends too. plenty of bull shooting happened as well.

Things for a first timer to know before going to Kentucky Challenge
If you are thinking of getting a SML stop by you will be glad you did.
Make sure to show a half hour early for breakfast. Great eats!
Have ear plugs and muffs.
Bring plenty of drinks. I thought I could chew the water at motel.
Except great fellowship.
You have a question ask it.
I will be back next spring hopefully weather will be as nice as it was this year.
I hope these comments make your first challenge as good as mine.
Thanks to all the cooks and for all the food everyone brought. Thanks Jeff for the hospitality. Thanks everyone for sharing their knowledge.

I am glad everyone made it in and back home safely. I want to thank everyone for attending and all the help everyone is willing to give. This shoot is successful because everyone is willing to help out where ever we need it. The Kentucky Challenge's have became a great event for any and all people interested in the smokeless muzzle loaders.
Here are two short videos of the weekend. One is of Friday afternoon and the other one is of Saturday and early Sunday morning.
Once again thanks to everyone and see you at the next shoot.

Great time again, and this was a first for me to shoot. I had never really, other than 5 shots, shot past 200yds. I also didn't shoot well but was happy with being able to hit my targets. Thanks to the cooks, and all who put these shoots together.

I agree those not used to narrow winding 35 MPH roads might be in for a surprise.
