Triple Seven pellets state 50 grains by volume, when I weight them on a grain scale I get an average of about 30.2 , on half a box I get anywhere from 29.8 to 30.9 seems to me that would equate to piss poor shot groups , any thoughts ...these are the first black powder anything I bought and they didn't work in the cva accura but blackhorn 209 I get one hole at 50 yards, why would someone even want to shoot pellets with so wide of an average, I don't and wont....

my comparisons was volume v actual grain weight using a conversion of .7 50 grain pellet should weight 35 grains , the weight I was getting was anywhere 20.8 up to 30.9 , still cant see how I can get accuracy out of the triple 7 pellets, maybe other makers are more accurate but seems to me like Winchester is shorting several grains per pellet

The pellets you mention absorb humidity quickly. The difference in weight could be in manufacturing or maybe not?

I get great accuracy using triple 7 magnum pellets in my ultimate bp express! I am very careful with storing the pellets and take care when loading as to not crush the pellets when loading
