I have a few pounds of aa5744 was thinking about using are there any load sugestions for 45/70 conversion and rempac 45 im using 4198 now  |

42gr of A5744 with a 200gr xtp or sst in the harvester smooth blue sabot will get you between 2250 to 2300+ fps depending how tight and smooth your bore is. It makes same hole groups in my gun. Sabotless with a 250gr bullet 35 to 40gr works well.

I forgot to mention barrel length will also change velocity. Mine is 24in with a 1.25in breech plug.
