Since they goofed the regs up for no low power rifles on public land this year, I am going to split duty between my smokeless mz's and this sweetheart, appropriately named "bad medicine" by our local deer herd. Lol. TC Encore pistol with shortened 16.5" 308win rifle barrel and bedded forend, trigger job, and Burris 3x9. I have used these pistols for almost 20yrs now. They are no handicap or burden to me. I have taken deer to almost 350yds. A predecessor in 260rem. Some of their handywork.

Looking at the pictures "Bad Medicine" is an appropriate name.

Very cool! I have a Virgin Valley 243 Encore, a Savage Striker in 260 Rem, and a Bullberry .338/284 XP100R. It has been too long since I shot any of those guns.

Surprisingly, and awful close to the season start, Indiana has fixed the wording errors of the rifle rule. An emergency ruling has restored our use of certain rifle calibers on public land.

Here are a few of my LRP's starting from the top..............7/08 XP built by Walley Hart (brother of Hart barrels) 7.62x39 TC with a Hart barrel chambered by Bullberry with their floating forend, a 6mmBR XP that I built using one of my used 6ppc take off barrels and a .223 Ackley XP I also built with a Lilja barrel. The contender took a 220 yard antelope and the 7/08 a 156 yard speed goat. The other two accounted for numerous PD's and ground hogs.
