My gun shulde be here this week from Jeff need some info on loads is using a 300 grain bullet to much for powder load of 55 to 60 grains max???

I have found a 300 grain bullet in my break open is too much bullet. I'd stay below 275gr with 250gr being ideal.

I have found 275 be with a lite knurl and 56 grn of imr4198 holds a 3 in group at 300yrds not sure on speed probably around 2500 ish but it crushes whitetails at 100
