Here is the CVA Apex test. I did a quick five shot group for the customer and sighted it in so he could go straight to the range and off to a deer hunt in Kansas on Friday.
Here are the results. The five shot group measures 2.5 but if we take out the first shot and figure the four good ones we have a group of 1.250. So this rifle will shoot plenty good enough to be a hunting rifle. Gould probable squeeze out a little more accuracy from it if you wanted to do some load developing and testing. One of my customers is shooting the 225 grain Hornady bullets with 4198 and he is reporting less than 1 inch groups at 100 yards....

Very cool, surprised the accuracy isn't better though, maybe it would be if more load development was done like you said. But I realize your busy great video hopefully someone who has one of these conversions can show a range report down the road. This would be a great starter rifle in the smokeless world! Great job Hank.

I do believe the accuracy could get better if you wanted to work with it some. My goal here was to sight it in and get it deer ready for 100 yards. And I'm sure these guns are like any others,,, some will drive nails and others drive you crazy....

great video, I would say that group was very good. I would be happy with that group especially considering the amount of money that was invested. Very affordable way to get started
