That was a great video hope mine was one of the eleven looking forward to try the HIS system!!!!! Bobby. Yours was not one of the eleven but I finished it up today.. Yours was a little more work than the others since you order a ram rod feral and barrel band, and wanted the forearm studs tig welded to the barrel,, I also cerakoted the barrel band and got almost a perfect match to the factory Bergara barrel finish. I installed one of my spin jags on your ram rod and shortened it a few inches to fit the barrel.. The rifle will ship on Monday so you'll see it middle of the week.. The rifle turned out real nice, here's a teaser picture for you until you can really lay your hands on it.. Enjoy,, and shoot a big one with it..

Jeff,
Good looking breech plug, nothing ever stays the same, there is always room for improvement if you aren't afraid to try.

Cool vid and thread. I have an Apex 45-70 that I'm having fun shooting my cast bullets and black powder loads with but when I get tired of smoking I'll send to jeff for his conversion.

Can I see a pic of the 9/16 plug from the nose so I can get an idea how deep and wide the powder pocket is ?

Thanks for the video! What's the easiest way to get a hold of you for a knurling tool and apex build?

Thanks for the video! What's the easiest way to get a hold of you for a knurling tool and apex build? The knurling tool in in the works and the best way to get me is by e-mail and leave me your # and I will call you asap. Or you can try calling but I might not answer if I am running the machines. Thanks....

I just stumbled on this site today.
Great video Jeff. You shipped my Bullberry conversion just about a year ago today. I'm very happy with the performance in cold weather. Last year it was below zero for our late antlerless season. No ignition issues what so ever.
Thanks. Mike
