The first .4005" Pittman / Hammer monolithic copper hollow points will be in late this week. The first offering in this line will be 253 grains. 1.3" length. These should do well in 1 in 18 twist and faster.

I did mine on a belt sander a year ago for my other 40. That's the plan short term. I spoke to spinjag this morning and they said send them a bullet and they would see what they could do also. They wouldn't just make me a 40 cal parker style jag though unfortunately.

The reason I did what I did is because the actual 40cal spinjag uses an 8-32 thread instead of 10-32 like on most ramrod. You will need an adapter or another ramrod to use the 40cal version. I can also tell you the spinjag for a MH or Pittman will work well with the new mono because I have shot them in my new 40.

DP, let me know were we start. Powder wise. I'm thinking around 67-68 grains of 3031 is a decent starting point and should be in the 2650 - 2700 fps range based off some past data I've saw for the 240 CEB's.

That may be more Recoil than you want in the TC Encore. 64 Grs of IMR 3031 with the 240 CEBs was plenty for me.

Is there a break open caliber that would convert to shoot these?

Will you have them posted on your web site then? Yes I will. Kyle, Went to your site eagerly anticipating a photo of the "next best thing since sliced bread". "Coming Soon" - almost felt like when I go to check my trail camera and realize I forgot to turn the camera on. LOL. Look forward to the new product, best of luck.
