I hope my SHV holds up on my gun. I have the illuminated MOAR reticle, and I really like it. It has the hold over hashs, but it doesn't look like a Christmas tree. It also has the Zero Set that has worked well so far.

Likely As far as I know the SHV line is completely made in Japan rather than just most of the parts like the other NF scopes. I know guys that are running them and they are holding up well so far.

My SHV has held up fine on my hard kicking BH209 gun with no brake. To my eyes the glass in the SHV is almost as good as my NXS.

Any of you Guys have any experience with Nikon black x1000 .picked up a 4-16x50 non illuminated moa reticle. After watching reviews they appear to hold up to heavy recoiling rifles338 Lapua. I’m building mine without a brake. We’ll see.

Type in Nikon black x 1000, you will find multiple detailed posts regarding your scope. It's way too much information for reposting here. Just do a search, you'll find what you are looking for.

yeah I was thinking about durability too and also looked at the veracity but these 4 screws that hold my rail on the barrel just don't go down into the steel very far on my barrel for me to be comfortable with a heavier 30mm tube scope on there. maybe if I keep my scout load down around 60 gr 4198 I'll be ok.

Old head got it free Christmas gift.they seem to hold up well on heavy recoiling rifles.338 Lapua. Time will tell .im still waiting on a stock from manners They’re opening up a stock that has a 1 inch channel to work with my barrel contour for 29.95 including paint touch up.

Finally found the Razor HD LH 2x10x40 at closeout pricing. Exactly what i wanted for a light weight rifle. I dont shoot really hot loads in my NULA but the low weight does make it kick a little. I figured for $350 i will risk it. Not thrilled with the HSR-4 reticule but i can probably live with it. Having a 2x low and best quality glass i can afford was the main thing. It should be a nice upgrade for my 2x7x33 Redfield.

Hope it holds up well. The price was right and its super bright. Eye relief sure seems to be more than stated but stays constant. All adjustments are very very tight. The finish on it seems much harder than any of my other scopes. This is the first scope that i did not need to focus at all. Its clear and sharp right out of the box even with my crappy eyes. Crosshairs and the vertical post are a little too fine for my liking but i think i can live with it.
