I got a chance to test these again this time in my heavy 6mm Dasher last Thursday evening when conditions were good I shot a 10 shot group measuring 4.0 inches at 1,000 yards today I shot this same gun in our heavy gun match today.
This gun is built on a blue printed Rem 700 action a 1.250 29 inch X-caliber 6 groove barrel 1-8 twist. The barrel is epoxied into a aluminum sleeve it has a muzzle brake and I have a NF 12x42x56 benchrest scope on it , the guns weighs 25lbs so it is considered a light heavy weight gun.
Conditions today were very windy but I won my relay for group shooting a 11.00 inch group next closest group was 14 inches. There were some very good shooters in that relay also these Nosler"s shot better in the wind for score than others. the first 6 shots were in 1.250 all cutting each other then the wind gods said enough of that and things went south big time.
Bottom line these new Nosler's are good and they don't seem hard to be tune so I will keep shooting them in this gun when you find the right combination the gun will shoot better through bad conditions.
