Please tell what your gun weighs, some guys might want to shoot in more than one class so give your weight and what power scope you are running on that gun
Please vote in the poll then give specifics in the thread, we will use this to help determine classes after everyone list's their equipment.

This is good information guys. We need some more. I have a postal scale that will weigh up to 35 pounds very accurate and will bring it to the next shoot. We can use this scale to determine exact weights on the rifles. What I would like to see is a hunter class and a bench rest class for the majority of us shooters. All though we have never had more than one or two brake open guns shooting I would also like to see a class for the brake open shooters as they really can't compete with the big higher power SPML's built on center fire actions and 1.250 diameter barrels. We will also talk about a sub-caliber class as this is becoming more and more popular, so we might draw a line at smaller than 45 caliber will be in it's own class. This would include everything less than a .450 diameter bullet. Trying to keep the playing field fair and even for everyone. Also I do not want to make this more complicated than it needs to be as the Kentucky Challenge has been established as a fun friendly atmosphere. I do not want to take away from what we have built so far, but we should look at making a few classes so everyone feels like they have a chance to finish well in their class.

I am good with whatever you guys decide, I just go to have fun anyway, let's see, we have had how may shoot's and the hillbilly has yet to win one? That tells me I likely never will and I'm good with that. It sure is fun to see the competitive spirit come out in you guys though. it makes for some good times

Bestill building a Omega with 45 brux and I have a lam stock for that. Hoping for under 10.

Also have 2 more 700ML with boltnose and plug with original barrels, 1 is 45 the other 50. Don't plan to use them in "challenge" however always have the option of bringing the White Bison in .504 just to burn some real "holy black" I'd be ok to 100 with that and possibly 200 but beyond that ....... plowing dirt. 10

Bestill building a Omega with 45 brux and I have a lam stock for that. Hoping for under 10.
Bestill built Omega, 45 cal 1/20 twist 26" Brux, Boyds th lam stock, 3-9X40. 9.5 lbs
X7 Omega 50, 1/28 twist, 23" barrel QLA removed, original lam stock, 4X glass, 7 lbs.
If I can get good accuracy with BH209 the X7 is a good carry gun. Good balance, short, plenty of bullet choices and am really anxious to try some Pittman 40s due out soon. Now if I can get some cool weather I'll be developing loads. Hope all have a great time at the challenge. Hope to make it in the spring. 10
