This is the latest batch of brass with the correct rim for a standard shell holder. I have a 6mm Dasher with a 1-7 twist barrel that has given me pressure problems from the start. I couldn't get the 110gr SMK to shoot good and I even tried slower powder mainly RL 17 with fair success. Since I have two other Dashers with .266nk's I decided to go with the Norma Dasher reamer with the standard .272 no turn neck and a .104 free bore. Well the .104 free bore is to short with a Norma case which is .060 longer than the Laupa version. The pressure problems didn't go away with this new setup either. So I ended up throating this chamber out .120 that still gave me plenty of bullet retention in the longer neck it also took away the pressure problems I was having.
I also tested some of this brass in my 1-8 twist barrel with a .266 nk. I shorten the cases and turned the necks down to .0105. I wanted to see how the Norma brass would work in this barrel. I normally shoot 33.6grs of Varget and a 107SMK with no signs of pressure the Norma cases handled the same load as the Laupa and showed very little expansion in the 1-8 twist barrel so If someone wants to build a Dasher using the New Norma Dasher brass I do believe it will work fine in a .237 bore a .236 might cause problems but it also causes problems with Laupa brass so I always run .237 bores. The Norma brass will save time that no fire forming is required just trim the case back to the proper length and haver your gunsmith throat the chamber out and it will work fine.
