I hunt out of state maybe 2-3 weeks a year but tend to hunt with my muzzleloaders as well. so... this gun will not be fired a ton but still might need a barrel....you never know??

Great looking! My boy is 6yo and a lefty also. He will have to settle for Encores and straight stocks for a while. Lol

don very nice set up & load work, shooting!
I am a berger & nosler guy, berger for target shooting- nosler accubond lr for hunting. bergers have been way too volatile on game such as deer ime/jmho.
nosler accubond lr seem to like around .100 jump.
applied ballistics actual real world published bc's for imformation purposes
berger 210 g1-.623 listed .625 g7-.320
nosler acc lr g1-.647 * overated bc listing .730* g7-.332
accubond lr will shoot great groups also, just recently 300rum w/190accbond-lr .6-.750 grps @ 200yds with no BLING but ZING!
keep up the great work!

Have you been able to get the rifle back from the boy yet? LOL That surely is a fine rifle and a good shooter.

My Criterion barreled 300WM likes the 210 Bergers too. I killed 2 deer with it this year shooting 200 Accubonds. I have found that it shoots a 165 Accubond as well as the 210 Bergers but I want to shoot a heavier bullet in it because I have a Criterion barreled 30-06 that shoots the 165 Accubond well too. Have you tried the 215 Hybrid? The 165 hybrid shoots lights out in my 308. Looks good. You are ready for some action...

I can see it likes the bullets closer to the lands! This is generally the case. Good shooting! The Extreme Spreads look very doable also.

I just received a box of them last week.
