First and foremost I brought home friendship...new friends and old friends. A new level of confidence taught to me by all those around me...that I can shoot....just not as good as the rest of you..lol I am improving on my table manners . It sure helps having some of the best people I have ever met bolstering my confidence. I have a habit of talking myself into a miss. But it was lots better this shoot. I went with hopes of finishing up in the middle of the pack. And landed right there. And I came.home with the knowledge help is just a phone call away. (But I knew that anyway). These are a few of the things I brought home with me...plus 5 lbs of powder..lol anda hankering for a new gun...and.some new toys. So...what did ya'll vring home from the shoot with you Drop

Well I brought home about 5 extra pounds of belly after all that good food. I also felt like I made some new friend, that I can ask any questions and get a good answer to. I learned a lot just watching the more experienced shoot. and many new ideas for my next build.

I took home a lot of great memories and learned a lot. I learned when I need to clean my barrel so not to have a hard time loading and I need a better ramrod for loading when it does get tight from fouling. I shot a terrible 100 yard group in the competition due to not being able to get shot 2 & 3 loaded properly. I cleaned the barrel after that and shot one fouler and then shot a very nice group at 200. I had never shot a muzzleloader at 300 yards. I pulled shot 1 badly and 2 and 3 were only and inch apart. The experience at the shoot was all positive for me and cant wait for the next one.
