HS6 is #64 on the burn rate chart and 4198 is #139 . I realize you should never shoot smokless in a Black powder gun but I hate when they do crap like that . 120 grains of HS6 is gonna blow up about anything !

Someone needs to give 'em a call..... You are just the man for the job........ call em and see if they even know what they used. It took me 35 minutes of hold time but finally got through to a CVA rep. He says he didn't know what the charge is that was used in that video and if it wasn't stated it's because they didn't want anyone else trying to duplicate the test.

I think CVA is trying desperately to distance themselves from the smokeless crowd. I say this because of a conversation I had with a rep. last year before I had Hank do my conversion, I checked on getting another barrel and they were out at the time, but I told him what I intended, he replied, we do not advocate that. That being said all they need to do is what they already do in stating not to use smokeless powder in their muzzle loaders. Even center-fire rifle/pistol manufacturers wont warranty on reloads so the traces are a use at your own risk, but I for one am glad someone is doing it to give us some kind of baseline.

Thanks for your effort. And typical strategy to create an unrealistic and spectacular event rather than a realistic example of the true consequences of error. Sort of what the lame-stream libtard media does to the news every day.
