Well guys, you have been asking for these for a while now and I have finally got them done. These barrels are made from Brux barrel blanks. They are 1-20 twist and finished at your specified length at time of order. I can install a muzzle brake, included with a loading funnel and a thread protector at time of order if you would want one. The barrel in the picture is finished at 28 inches and has a 45 degree recessed, polished crown to make for easy loading and cleaning.
These barrels come with a custom barrel nut CNC machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel, in house at Hankins Custom Rifles. I do not sub-contract my parts from China. 17-4 is twice as strong as 416 steel and it is twice as hard to machine. Therefor twice as expensive to buy.
These barrels are 1.062 diameter for 6 inches then straight tapper to .750 at 28 inches. I ordered these barrels a little on the light weight side because I thought they would make for a nicer lighter weight hunting rifle. I would recommend a starting load of 65 grains of IMR 4198 and a 275 grain Pittman Accumax bullet. This would make an easy 300 yard deer rifle.
These barrels come with the barrel nut, one of my 9/16-24 TPI breech plugs, a .030 tungsten bushing and 25 primer modules.
These barrels will head space using your recoil lug of choice, a .187 (3/16), .250 (1/4) or a .312 (5/16) lug will work with these barrels.
Included with this barrel is a plug, tungsten bushing and 25 primer modules.
When you order a barrel from me I will cut it , crown it with a 45 degree crown and polish it to make for easy loading and cleaning.
The barrel nuts are available for purchase separate if you have a barrel and just need the nut. I have 60 of these barrel nuts made from 17-4 stainless steel and I most likely will not make any more from 17-4, so get yours while I still have some. The cost of the nut alone is $50.00
These barrels are going to sell for a total cost of $800.00 cut, crowned and bead blasted at your desired length. Includes the plug, bushing and 25 primer modules. If you want to cut and crown it yourself the cost will be $750.00
Thanks for your support and please call or PM me to order.
