as always a pleasure to cook & help prepare good foods at a shoot.
but I can't & do not pull it off alone. many special thx to kyle,bill,mindy,hank,allan and many other contributions in the kitchen area. many others brought things like Richard's awesome potato salad,allans disappearing shrimp ,jimbobs sausage & 10ga spent some time there. there were many others as well just not enough megabytes of memory left in this old man again thx!
oh yea salsa,salsa,salsa was excellent & we temped the foods up a spicy bit from other shoots
anyone that has attended a shoot knows how it works but for some that have not been to one of these shoots a better understanding of what goes on with everyone pitching in & bringing some of their items to cook. sometimes all do not get done but we try like hell! everyone there is a kitchen contributor.
first time I ever witnessed venison sausage gravy made in a dutch but it worked with griddled toast.
learned some else from kyle while on a trip to the local store-biscuits & gravy are a "staple" in Tennessee so he advised me on how to make biscuits in a dutch over heat which we will attempt next time!
we had to go to the store cause old deadeye thought there was approx. 17 shooters(last time I looked-my bad) but did not knew it grew to almost 30 people attending the shoot & ran out of bacon. that's like running out of powder at a shoot
time for me now to box & move my kitchen approx. 1350 miles west & do some long cooking say approx. 10,000 ft///aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
