Anyone bringing a .40 to the shoot??? Trying to decide if my next build will be a .40 or another .45.

with a .40 you are very restricted on bullet choice, not saying its a bad caliber, just not much to choose from. I can shoot the SSTs and 195 barnes from my .45s with good accuracy with a sabot if I so choose, JMHO

Thanks for the input Bill. The limited bullet selection is my only concern. I know there is also the 240 CEB that some guys are doing well with.

the CEB is a special order bullet, I could be wrong but I don't think they stock it..
the .40 is a good concept but its just not a size others use in rifles so we have limited bullet choice..

The small selection of .40 cal. bullets is my issue also, so I have been thinking a .375 might be a good one to play with since there are plenty of bullets to choose from.

I will have my .416.... I finished it over a year ago but have not done much testing with it yet..... What little I have shot it I got the best accuracy from the 300 grain Barns bullets. I will do some more some day but don't know when....
