It's been a good 2016 season so far in Tennessee. I've taken a wide 8 and a crazy racked 10 pointer, and my youngest daughter Hollyn, age 9, took her biggest buck so far and first with a muzzleloader. Both guns are Remi/McGowen .45's built by HillBill, shooting 62 grains of H4198, HLB sabot, Barnes 195's-boringly accurate and deadly. Hollyn's shot was the farthest, about 125 yards, both of mine were inside 100. The doe with Hollyn's buck was dropped by me after she killed her buck, she was right at 200 yards. None of them went more than 50 yards after the shot, all within sight when they dropped. Montgomery County, TN.
