I've been into Smokeless Muzzleloading for a few years. It all started with a Savage ML10-II, but I lost that gun in a house fire a few years ago. I now have a converted H&R 45-70 with a Savage breech plug. Not quite the same as the Savage, but is shoots well and is my "To The Woods ML". My preferred H&R load is 53 grains of 4198, a Harvester Blue Sabot, pushing a Barnes 155 grain 40 cal TAC-XP pistol bullet (30504). This is a tame shooting, accurate and cost effective load for my application.
Anyhow, hello everyone!
