Well guys I got a furry forest creature to cooperate this afternoon in Kentucky and was able to test out the new Pittman Bullets Aeromax series of .452's. The bullet tested was a 325 grain Aeromax with an estimated muzzle velocity of 2940 fps with an estimated impact velocity at 250 yards of 2320 fps. The shot was quartering toward in the left shoulder with a pass through near the last rib on the other side. The exit hole was not very large, but the bullet did its job on the inside taking out the heart and lungs. After a 20 yard death wobble he was done. A special thanks to Jeff And Mindy for their hospitality and friendship. Jeff took a good video of the hunt and I'm sure when he gets time he will get it uploaded. The Aeromax series will be available in late January or early February in weights 300 to 400 grains, maybe a 275 we'll see.

That is a great looking bullet. I think you may need to have your bullet maker to add a few more employees to keep up with orders when these come out.
Did you use your old gun or was this a new gun, also what load was you shooting?

Did you use your old gun or was this a new gun, also what load was you shooting? My new gun build is still awaiting a stock. I was shooting my Hankins Rifle that I've shot at the Kentucky Challenges. The load was 95gr of IMR3031.

Looks really nice. Close to the same bearing surface. Hard to beat IMR3031.

Well guys,,,, Here is the video of Kyle's buck kill..... It ain't a Booner but it was a decent buck with a heavy body for a test of the new Areomax bullet. The shot was 250+ yards and penetrated all the way through. We hunted again tonight and saw about 20 deer total but decided not to shoot anything tonight. I will be back out some more this week to see if I can get one with Cyclops and the 350 grain original Accumax bullet.
Here is the video... Hope you all enjoy.
