Finally got around to test some of Bergers new 195gr EOL bullets in my heavy long range bench gun. It is heavy at 60 LBS. This gun has a 36 inch Krieger barrel with a barrel block and a 15x Unertl Ultra Varmint scope. The barrel is 1.350 in diameter it has a 1-8 twist and this gun also has a muzzle brake. It has always shot the 180 VLD hunting bullet very well So I thought the new 195 gr EOL would really work well.
I started off with new Rem 7 STW brass and went to my old stand bye powder of Win. 872 powder it really works well in overbore cases with long barrels. I tested 87,88,89, and 90grs. all shot very well at 100 yards and 90 grs gave me a velocity of 3,315fps with no signs of any pressure. I could go faster but I feel that is probably the fastest speed this bullet will handle . This combination in high altitudes I shoot in out in Colorado will really make this a very deadly combination out to 2,000 yards. Also it is the flattest shooting combination I have every had the chart calls for 40.5MOA up at 2,000 yards that is really flat and the energy is still over 1,600 ft lbs. very deadly to say the least. I have not had a chance to test these on paper at 1K just because they shot a bug hole at 100 doesn't mean they will shot at 1k over beyond.

I really like RL 25. I normally use that for my 180gr load. I also have a 7mm/300 Web with a 30 inch barrel. I also use RL 25 in that one. Today I thought about using RL33 for the 195gr bullet but went with W872 because I had a lot of experience with that surplus powder. When you can get enough of it in a case with a heavy bullet it really comes alive.
For you I would stay with H1000 or RL 25 or possibly The new RL 26. How long is your Shilen barrel? In both my 7MM's I am way above what the book calls max loads every gun is different so becareful. The big 7MM'Scan really reach out there. I had a 338/378 WEB with 2 inch diameter Krieger barrel 38 inches long the gun weighed 90 lbs we killed deer out to 1950 yards and a bunch of elk between 1200 and 1800 yards The big 300g SMK at 3100fps is a true killer out to 2,000 yards. In high altitudes. there is a big difference between sea level drop charts and 10,000 feet drop charts. But this new 195gr EOL bullet will hang pretty close to the big 338/378 now. It will shot flatter but it will also have less energy and it will be a lot harder to see the bullet impact into the ground. That's what is really nice about the big 300gr bullet unless conditions are bad you will see you hits and misses.

Sorry I didn't post sooner been hunting in Virginia. Reloader 26 is new but it is avaible know. It was introduced for the Nosler 26 cartridge. Should be a good powder for overbore cartridges.
