 I was set up in a spot where I could shoot out to 400 in one place and a spot or two at 550 to 600 yards.But luck would have it this one came in at 75 yards.The 275 Pittman hammered him. |

Congrats!! I practiced to 400 yards when I drew an antelope tag in 2014 ended up shooting a goat at 50 yards, yup they always have different plans!!

Nice shooting SA! Same happened to me out in Idaho on an elk hunt. Had all my drops out to 400 yards or so and the dang elk came out of the black timber at 45 yards!  So much for my long shot kill! |
