What do most people do as far as measuring powder while at the range? I have about 10-12 vials that I keep powder in so I will need to refill them. I have an electric scale, but wanted to make sure there is electricity at the range. Thanks

No electric at the range. You will need a battery operated or beam scale.. I will have a beam scale there..

I would buy more vials. I have about 50 or so from when I shot duplex loads. In the event that I seat bullets at the range I also charge all cases at the house. I never take a measure to the range but if I did it would be a culver.

It would be nice to have a little generator available.

Nope, I can confirm that at the house before I leave and when your charges are over 50gn a difference of .1gn is .2% or less (by the time you reach 70gn it is .1% error). Much ado about nothing.

I'll bring an inverter to use for anyone that wants to use their electric scale.

Thanks Kyle, I forgot about the inverter. I keep one in my car all the time. We should be good to go.

Keith is 100% right. A tenth or two of a grain in our ML charges don't mean Jack Chit! BTW, is that a REAL Homer Culver insert or like my Harrels?

Richard.
I agree with you... I used my RCBS powder thrower to through 100 charges at the last shoot and I am still shooting from those charges thrown last year in August...
