Hi guys I just registered on this board today and was able to finalize plans for myself and a friend to attend the shoot again. It will be great to see the guys we met last year and meet the new ones.

I know it will be a great time especially since you, Kyle and Jeff did all the work improving the range. I will have plenty of bullets, but not the paper punching kind they will be my deer hunting bullets

Just three weekends to go.. I just added 4 more shooters to the list. We know have 16 paid shooters and several more that are committed but haven't paid yet.. Some will pay when they get here and that's ok with me,, but if you are for sure coming let me know and I'll make you down on the list..
Thanks to all.
Jeff.

Oneshotike and I are going to the range tomorrow morning early to set up the big top and now the field.. Also going to tidy up some and cut down a few little trees that might be in the way.. I will probably need to mow the grass one more time before the shoot...
The weather has been pretty hot last week but it's cooling off so hopefully we will have a weekend like last year. If it stays in the 80's I'm happy...
Does everyone attending the shoot have any questions about directions or any others that I can answer for you.. If you want to pm me you number I'll be happy to call and chew the fat for awhile..
This is going to be the best shoot so far and I think they will only get better from here on out...
Jeff...

Guys..
I got a PM from ours truly Mr. Myers. It seems as though things has change in his schedule and he will not be able to make it to the fall shoot. He ask me to keep his entry fee money that has been paid and contribute it to the shrimp feast on Friday night... That was very nice of him and I am sure we will all appreciate it while we are gorging ourselves on shrimp. Here is the PM I got from Myers..
"Jeff, work and family schedule has changed drastically and I have been forced to realize I won't make the shoot again. Since I won't make it and the money hasn't been spent elsewhere I would gladly offer my admission fee to SML to sponsor some shrimp eatin."
Even though I was kinda looking forward to meeting Mr. Myers it seems as if it will be put off yet another year...
I honestly think that if we could all get together and meet, we would all be able to realize that we are on the same path to a better SML world. Once we get past the "mine is bigger than yours" we could all find common ground and make this a great world to be in.
Time will only help mend downed fences and we can all learn from each other. It don't matter weather you been in this game for a decade or a day, we can all contribute to its advancement.
I look forward to all of you coming to the Kentucky Challenge some day........ If you can't make this one, try to plan for the next shoot.....
I thank all of you very much for supporting me and the advancement of Smokeless Powder Muzzle Loading..
My Hat is off to you all..
Jeff Hankins.

cole- that is a class act & all will appreciate your generous offer/hopefully you can attend one down the road along with many others!
I never look in the rearview mirror!
once upon a time there was & still is 2 great guitar players legends that quarreled/bickered & did not speak/communicate for years.
answer=crossroads-their names** Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood** they have laid it aside & play together respectfully now best of friends-great to see & the world got better!
