I know I've been posting my painting trials and failures but I have everything put back together. Thought I'd post the end results. I taped off the butt pad when I painted along with the barrel channel and action. For some reason the sticky stuff didn't completely release from the butt pad so it's got a terrible sticky touch to it. My wife sells Norex a cleaning product so she's working on it as we speak to show me how well it does or doesn't work.  Here is new look   |

Funny you say that I thought the same thing after I took the picture this morning. Then after I thought about it, figured it was a good touch to the picture. |

Looks good... Do the specks add any texture to the stock..? Would kelp for gripping it if it does...
