Here is a .40 muzzleloader I put together cheap. Rem. 700ML action .40 McGowen 25" barrel Boltnose conversion Stocky's Longrange Composite stock [/URL] Going to shoot 200 SST's with IMR3031 and H322. Just have to work on a load that shoots one holders.

I like the stock Mark. I am going to want to put the "grab" on it at the challenge to see how it feels (if you don't mind) Sponge bob and square pants looks fine:)

Okay I will bite. Why the "cheap" in the title? Perhaps I missed something somewhere else? Looks like a top notch build so I am scratching my bald head trying to figure out the cheap part.
Good looking rig by the way. Good work.

I really like the look of that gun. It's got deer killer written all over it.

I call it cheap because I have a total of about $740.00 in the completed build not counting the scope. Another thing that makes it cheap is that a 100 200gr. SST's are only about $60 .

I like it Mark...Are you going to upgrade the trigger..? The trigger adjusted to where it is not to bad. I think I'm going to upgrade to something that will go a little lighter on pull if it shoots good.

Fire her up let us know what she'll do....How do the 200's fit out of the box...? I get confused on the dimensions of a .40 because there are different configurations per barrel maker from what I've seen/read.....392/.400 ....400/.408 ?

Wow!!!That is cheap. Good job and great build. And as you stated the bullets are cheap also. Seems like a winner/winner.

200SST's need knurled to get a good fit, out of the box they are pretty loose in the bore.
