I sold the McRem I was shooting BH209 in so I had to see if the other McRem would shoot it as well. I felt confident it would since they both have the same 1:22 twist McGowen barrel. Also got new glass for this one. Nightforce SHV 4-15x50 F1
95 grs. weighed BH209 250 FTX smooth sized and knurled up
275 BE from pack to bore Fed. 209A .060 veggie wad
100 yards 3 shots 250 FTX .4875
300 yards 3 shots didn't get a exact measurement but under 2". The two shots together are the 275 BE and the one slightly lower right is a 250FTX.

Very nice. How do you like the SHV scope? I was looking for one for a hunting rifle.

So far I like the SHV. This is the first FFP scope for me and it is different. The reticle is very small on 4X and probably not usable by my 50 year old eyes in a hunting situation. This want be a woods gun so don't foresee any issue. The thing I really like is the illuminated floating center cross hair and the 11 different brightness settings with an off position in between each setting. Cant wait to hunt with it.
I will also add I tested this scope and a Zeiss HD5 at last light and I would give a slight edge to the Ziess for light gathering. However I couldn't see the reticle in either scope. Turn on the illumination on the SHV and it would be dead deer.....
