today- I did not touch the swinglock die after yesterday's slightly adjusting during as session that showed some accuracy promise after increasing the bullet per bore fit just a tad. yesterday after the adjustment I would guess say hankin's 275be style loading around 5-10lbs..... for the 327mh/I4198 @ 73.0gns --speeds were approx. 2670fps area-triangle group roughly @ 1.360"@200yds

today die untouched & gun I was surprised by loading resistance from yesterday to today & it was all 3 shots(bore approx. 50 un cleaned)-very firm guessing around 50-60lbs down the tube thought we were going to have a flier so to speak of...thing was speeds were down to approx. 2640fps & 1st 2 were touching with the 3rd vertical stringing upwards to make this group approx. 1.287 with an overnight/overlaying target.
marked with black marker vertical in nature
this is a good average groups size for this powder/barrel & 327mh bullet & I like this consistency day-in/day-out but probably will not take wood @ ky's shoot but this gun is returning with some accuracy from the past.
weird-so what the difference In loading pressure all the sudden-same box of bullets/etc?? I have no clue??? temp's & humidity were close to same.
oh well another brief moment on the range!

Nothing wrong with that 200 yard group. The increased loading resistance is interesting though...

I often wonder why there is variety day to day when everything "seems" to be the same.

For me, it seems like the first bullet of the day down the tube is usually a little harder than the next ones when I fire over a period of several days without cleaning.

Im not sure if I read that right but if I did you were sizing as you were shooting? If so with it being summer and you were fitting to a warm or maybe a hot barrel? It might be more resistance the next day bc the barrel had cooled down and actuarial shrank a little.
