Here is a 338 Lapua I just finished up this week and test fired friday. I shot Hornady 250 grain factory ammo, Hornady 285 grain ammo and Nosler Match Grade 300 grain ammo. The rifle was built to shoot the longer 300 grain berger bullets and it did shoot the 300 grain Noslers better than either of the Hornady offerings. I have a test fire video I will up load to this thread tomorrow. The rifle turned out real nice,,,, Here is a picture of it..

Hank you might want to try the Sierra 300gr MK. If you have the chamber throated out for the 300gr Berger. I have used the 300gr Sierra ever since they came out with great long range success. The guys around hear that shoot extreme long range and I am talking 1,000 to 2,000 yards simply can't get the consistent accuracy from the Berger, The higher B.C. means nothing if you can't hit what your shooting at.
What powder are you planning on using RL33 seems to be working well in that and the .338 Ultra Mag. We have built several .338 Ulta's with 30" barrels and they will develop more velocity than the .338 Lapua and the brass is cheaper.

This gun belongs to a customer and I am not sure what he plans on using in it for sure. I only test fired it with the factory ammo I had on hand. I'm sure once he gets it and works up a load it will be shooting very good... Out of the factory ammo I shot the Nosler shot the best.
