Our friend Bill that shoots with richard and I went to a local 300 yd match Sat 5/28.We wouldn't let Richard go because we knew he would beat us. I don't go to the 600 yd matches because my legs give me so much trouble and now auther has taken up resident in my trigger hand. Am so tired out when I get home and the pain in my legs that I just gave it up for this year. Back to the match I lucked out and shot a fine group. The match you shoot 10 targets with 3 shot groups. I did ok ending with a 297 but had a couple shot to get out of the 10 ring for no reason. So Tuesday morning I was at the range way before day light because I want to take the scope off and and realine. The cant was off just a hair so lined it up and was ready to try it out when we started shooting. Bill and I save our match targets to practice on,It took me a few shots to get her dialed in.The last 3 shots I watched the bullet hole get bigger with each shot.Man was I tickled. When we went to get our targets you couldn't really tell that there was 3 bullets in the hole but turning the target board over you could see three distink bullet holes. I measured this one with my glasses on and got .340-.243=.097 .A lucky group for an old man that will be 75 in a couple months. I put that rifle back in the case and waiting on the next match.

Absolutely great shooting. Seems a 297 would be very good also. Richard better look out next trip.

This was a 6BR,it used to be a 6BRX that Richard built for me for 600 yds.Than got him to rechamber it in 6BR.
When it was a 6BRX I did get a great group with it at 600 yd 5 shots =.770 At that time the record was .699.
I think I posted a pic of it at the time on Dougs board.
He does great work.
