sqezer LeRoy Welter Portage Wi. Retired Feeder Driver (UPS) 30 years of Teaching Hunters Ed. in Wisconsin, we needed someone to run the Muzzleloading part of the program so I stepped up. I'm also new to this Smokeless part, but willing to learn.

Like a muzzleloader you usually clean once a year, whenever you feel like it. Teaching that muzzleloader material for the hunter Ed program would be a real challenge for me.... I just took my 8 year old to her hunter Ed course in September. Every time they emphasized "never use smokeless powder in a muzzleloader!" I had to bite my tongue really hard. The reality is, I'll never own a muzzleloader that can't shoot smokeless powder.

I under stand completely. the reason is is to not confuse a new student with the powder, that comes down the road at a later date in time as they gain more knowledge. I still can't give up shooting my Knight Super Disc 1-20 twist with 110 grs. BH-209. Very low serial number.

Tman - Todd Curtis, started muzzleloader game in the late 70’s. with a percussion Renegade in .54.Moved into the inline game with a TC Encore in the 90’s, shooting .50 cal sabot's, wanted to improve and added a .45 cal Bergara barrel a few years back, that couldn’t beat the .50, Purchased a CVA Accura in .45, still can’t beat the old .50 cal and Sabots. Now I’m looking at moving into the smokeless realm with a new barrel for the TC Encore. My eyes are getting to old to shoot 300 yards but like the idea of a rifle that doesn’t need to be swabbed every couple of shots.
