Hammer what makes you 30 cal so special ? Im not being sarcastic . Scott and I were only there for a little while and didnt get to watch you shoot the gun . It looks like the gun has a suppressor ? If so whats the velocity ? Just curious , whats the bullet weight and load ? Are you shooting subsonic loads ? Sorry for all the questions the sub cals intrest me but not sure i want to go through the hassle of full forming . But shooting the better BC bullets would be great .

Well, just booked a room for schunter and myself (yes, Scott #12) at the Evergreen Motel AKA "The palace of India" for the August shoot!
Doug...........here is a bit of what Hammer told me: he like the 125 gr. Speer TNT's and launches them around 3400 fps I think.............with 4064?. No sub sonic's---I think I might have convinced him to try them. His problem is that there is a chamber and if too little powder is used, the bullet drops below the rifling. I suggested Trail Boss as it is bulky and should work. I am sure he will give you a better description. He also shoots it with a muzzle brake besides the can.

Doug, Richard covered it very well. (Thank you Richard) The .30 cal. is not special just different, but what makes it interesting is the large choice of bullets available in .30 caliber.
