I will be 40 next week and I certainly have more that needs to get done than one can do in weeks of hard labor. But by God's grace, I was privileged today to fish a couple of hours with my father and my son. Cherish your family.

Those look delicious...Are those rainbows or another type trout..? Rainbows. There is a federal hatchery that releases a good quanitity of brood trout annually after they have filled their quota of spawn for the season. The brood trout make for fun, relatively easy day of fishing especially for my son. He ended up landing about 7-8 in the 3 hours of fishing. I would hesitate to keep that many of our native trout. However, these will make for a nice fry for my folks at work next month.
