I noticed my password here is the same as dougs and when I try to change it proboards jumps right to the dougs info and wont let me change one without the other. I don't like the idea of this because the B.S. is starting over there again. Anyone know how to do it?

This is because the message board both forums use is the same. Proboards. I don't think proboards will let you have different passwords, at least not that I'm aware of.. Actually I think it's kind of convenient not having to type all that login info twice.

I purposely use the same just so all members know it is me. I did not realize that was the only way I could have done it. Works best for me to be the same, different for others.

I'm not sure if this will work but completely close out Doug's in your browser. Log in to Hank's and see if it will allow you to change it then. Rambler is correct about the boards being hosted by pro boards and that might be the reason, but I would think you could have different passwords for each site if that's what you wanted.

I think you could use a different email. I believe that would let you start new here.

Good idea but I would have to start new here. I guess I'm worrying too much but I don't like the idea that admin from the other place might be able to read my pm's or mess with my settings or personal information.

I will assure you. The admins cannot read others PM's. They cannot change your personal info either. The only thing the admins can change is your avatar and or delete you...,
One admin in particular has shown how easy that is to...

Thanks Jeff that's good to know. I haven't even pm'd anyone here or them me but I just don't like sneaky jokers like that.

When I joined hanks board,I couldn't use same user name and password to register. I had to change both before it would register me on this board. Not a problem for me,but I understand the issues that could arise. Shame that truth is rejected by pride.
