Only individuals that have them that they are willing to put them up for adoption? No site that I know of?

It would be very difficult for me to trust a used Savage 10MLII if I planned on using the .50 factory barrel.

Being as I have a bunch of friends that are part of "Uncle Sams Misguided Children"...... Well yes I have taken a bunch: I have received foster and adopted and even discarded and problem "children". Being retired and having the time = getting them into shape and being useful "citizens" is kinda what keeps me going. I find them many places, some are "for sale" in classifieds even. There is a link here at Hanks, over on the green board and on Modern Muzzleloader forum. I have even found some by word of mouth and calls from mystified parents fed up with unruly beastly actions. Only the most damaged and abused get turned into vegetarians, like tomato and bean stakes with their better organs donated to help others become useful. Most have gone on to useful life, mostly as starter rifles and minute of deer machines. Seek and you will find, sometimes only every once in a while then a sudden flood. Most of the flood of foundlings will be about 2 weeks before hunting season opens. My 1st SML was purchased retail, the last of a line of rack guns being disposed in April to make room for the new arrivals. All others have been brought in and whipped into shape. It is a very rewarding endeavor. My experience and opinion, others will differ. 10ga
