That’s not good and a bit of bad luck. Hopefully they will help you out with the repairs and maybe you’ll get a replacement out of the deal.

Cva customer service has been good in my experience. Looks like maybe flaws in investment casting. Ruger firearms are investment casting I know my Super Redhawk is and M77 markII and Hawkeye were. Hope the gentleman gets good results from CVA.

Hopefully he takes much better care of his next rifle too. The amount off filth in his action is appalling and he was told a couple years ago how to fix that problem. Pics of the frame are even worse than the breach plug. Looks like he had not cleaned it good in awhile.

CVA non center fire frames are cast aluminum and corrosion didn't help it any.

I been hunting a long time and I must say I have never dropped a gun or bow from the tree stand. Some things just cant be fixed....
