Any body know anything about these new Rocky Mountain crossbows ?? They are new for the fall of 2019 . I can't find any reviews on them or anything about what the trigger is like.

I bet Steve has heard of them. Only the name. It appears to be another China or Taiwan made xbow. That doesn’t mean it’s bad. No track record.

Just came back from ATA....didn't see them .....remember u get what u pay for .....being a technician in a bow shop for the past 8 yrs ..... the best out there ...mission , ten point which owns wicked ridge ...... and we looked at Gear head .... probably the most tuneable cross bow out there . also customer service is the key . majority of the crossbow issues we c are ....consumer related in other words ...training on usage is paramount. Buying off the internet or at a big box store u wont get trained and when something happens the box store tells u to call the manufacture....my advice buy from a reputable pro shop

That is the same as the Carbon Express Piledriver 390. Cabelas and BassPro bought up a ton of those to sell from the ferrodine..sp...group. I got the Carbon Express version and really like it. For what it is. It got 5 star reviews for the CE version. Sure wouldnt be afraid of it. I paid 225 for mine on black friday Drop

Buying off the internet or at a big box store u wont get trained and when something happens the box store tells u to call the manufacture....my advice buy from a reputable pro shop I think these are some very good points. Crossbows have more moving, stretching, wearing , stressed parts than most other hunting weapons. Occasionally limbs and other items break. Crossbows (except recurves) get out of tune and eventually need cables and strings (primarily servings) replaced. This requires the parts, the equipment to do the serving and the skills to accomplish this. Box stores don’t have any of this. There are a couple of Taiwanese companies companies that make a variety of crossbows sold under various names, generally by box stores, catalog sales, etc.. A # of these are exceptionally good value, the servicing issues can be a real problem. ‘I agree: buy from a reputable pro shop. If you are crossbow knowledgable, have equipment, etc, then the situation could be different. Excalibur draws in a lot of sales as all work can be done at home and parts are direct from the factory or Danny Miller. ‘I know that for those familiar with my crossbow feelings , know that I believe that the KI SWAT has been “the” best value and best crossbow. And, I anticipate the new SWAT XP to carry these abilities even farther.

Sew right on if u want simplicity ...get an excalibure... they r owned by Bowtech , and are as basic as u can get ..... and they will shoot fixed broad heads ..... the reason all compound x bow companies recomend mechanical ..... there is no tuning ......but they all fail at one time or another ...ive heard all the stories about mechanical broad heads from the awsome to ill never shoot them again ....and i have never shot a mechanical in my life bottom line ...there is no replacement or fix for improper arrow placement period

I got a carbon express blade a couple years ago for my wife, after much shopping and research it seems there are a lot of lower end bows made by same company and labeled for which ever company is gonna sell it, for the money i think most are ok but yes definitely need a good bow mechanic to make tuning adjustments. Hers was out of tune from day 1 but we dialed it in and got it shooting well out to 50yds.
