I got the order mixed up. The third one is a stock it was suggested I scrap. It had two voids in it over nickel sized and 3/4 inch deep. Put wood stabilizer in to firm it up, put in a 4 1/2 inch cut bolt to firm up the void, filled it with water putty, walnut dust and color. Epoxied in the action, too little release agent in one stock. Broke a chunk out of the stock 1.5 inches by 4 inches. Glued that back in with TiteBond III. If you did not know there was chunk glued back i you could not really see it. Satin wipe on poly. We will see if it holds up to recoil.

They look very nice. You’ll certainly enjoy the rifles more having done the work yourself.
