I am not ready for replacements yet just clean-up tears and such. ACL's are good and still have some cartilage left. I will miss early archery season but should be ready, after I get the other knee done, for when the rut kicks in

Most doctors around here do both because most people refuse to do it again. It is about half and half around here of Docs who do both at the same time. I have a couple friends who have had both and also a few one at a time. I think key is finding a good surgeon, who isn't about how many he does but the quality for best expected outcome.

My Doc told me to resume activities as normal. I have and no pain but real stiff and swollen. I am off my feet for the day and elevated with ice pacs and a few ibuprofen.I have a history of blood clots it this leg so this is his reasoning for me to pursue normal activities. Wish I could have had both done at the same time but he really didn't even want to do them at all because of the clotting history but I convinced him the risk was all mine. My protector will keep me.
