How are you guys getting a full caliber bullet down the barrel? Does the sizing die reduce it down to just ride on the lands, I tried this with a 45 ACP Barrel I could not get the bullet started after running through a die I made from a barrel drop. I could not get the 452 bullet down the 452 Barrel, I know everybody here does it with 458 barrels. Just wondering how the bullet was going to fit down the barrel?

You full form size. You engrave the bullet with the rifling from the full form die. Mine is adjustable.

Full form Dies that I have used are adjustable ( I think all are). With the die you should be able to make bullets too small that will drop down the barrel once aligned with rifling

I full form sized a Hornady 180 gr XTP yesterday. I had made no adjustment to the die from the previous owner. Once the rifling aligned it fell in a little ways, could still see the bullet. I took the ramrod and pushed it through with a very firm one hand. The full form die may need a little tweaking for a fouled barrel. I tried to full form a Barnes 140 XPB. I should have run it through the smooth form die first to make it easier. Lesson learned!!!!
