Jeff, Thanks for the scope reviews. I'm looking for a scope for the Burx barrel that you made for my Encore. I'm considering the Sig Sauer Whiskey5, 3-15 that you reviewed and the Vortex 3-15 x 42 Razor HD LH. The scope must have generous eye relief.
If Jeff or anyone else has any recommendations on a good 3-15 power scope or a lead for a good price on one, I'd be interested any comments or info.

The Tract has a LOT of eye relief, so far I like it, might be worth considering. it has a 1" tube and is likely lighter than the Sig? Both are relatively new to the market so?
Just checked, the 52mm Sig is about 5 oz heavier than the Tract 50 mm
the Sig has 70 MOA of elevation the Tract has 50
the Sig has illumination the Tract has a hold over reticle

It's a new company and I hope they do well and come out with more models. They appear to offer very high quality glass and good value. I'm trying to decide between the Sig Whiskey 5 3-15, the Viper Razor HD LD 3-15 and now the Tract Toric 3-15. I'm looking for hunting scopes for an Encore SML and a Tikka 270 win.

so far i am impressed with the Toric, I have another in a box to install on a new build soon so we will know for sure how they hold up, I like the glass and the reticle, with about 60 shots in the Apex with stout loads it had survived so far.
keep in mind the 30mm scopes are pretty fat for the most part, on a light hunting rig that could be an issue?

Certainly don't want to thread jack, but if anyone ever has any questions on any TRACT optic, feel free to send them on over. Trevor www.tractoptics.com
