Recently bought some bullets from fellow member CHEYTAC. I sent him a check and once his received it and cashed it,he sent bullets my way. Well somehow along the way the my package got tampered with, because when package left his post office it weighed 4 and some lbs. When i received the package there were no bullets. I jumped the gun a bit and figured he scammed me. After multiple phone calls and text i reached him. He seemed blind sided and said he would call the post office and see what was up and issue a claim. In the meantime, he said he was going to write me back a check. I receive the refund check and it was cashed today. I have kept in contact with him and if they do end up tracking the bullet down i will purchase them.
Like i said i jumped the gun with thinking he bent me over! I apologized and would do things different next time! CHEYTAC is a stand up guy and made things right. I appreciate that!

That's great to hear, I thought that it was likely a shipping snafu, been there myself.
We have some great guys here and look's like he is one of them.
I'm glad you posted this and set the record straight for all to see, Real men admit when they jump the gun, A real man you are for doing so.

Glad to hear things worked out. I have had a couple shipping mishaps in the past with all but one resolved. Also hope you end up getting the bullets you wanted. Good of you to post this.

I've been in business a relatively short time. I ship usps and have had no shipping problems reported by customers. I do go way heavy on the bubble wrap and tape though. I have had a check take in excess of 40 days to arrive to me after it was post marked. It came in an "apology envelope" from usps as it was damaged by sorting equipment. Hope the goods are found. Glad you both worked it out.
My advice to members: go heavy on wrapping and heavy on the tape.

to add to what Kyle said anything with a sharp edge needs protection before it goes in a box especially if it's heavy and it must be packed tightly to avoid movement, I had a gun shipped to me once with the barrel protruding from the box 16". sharp pointed objects can and do make holes in things if care is not taken in packaging. as Kyle said, heavy on the shipping tape, tape all seams and cracks.

No worries , sometime things happen. Post office said bullets were no where to be found and I'm following up with them. I have bought and sold a lot of high speed stuff over the years on Snipershide and a persons integrity is all he/she has to stand on these days Even had the neighbors dog take the box off of a guys porch one day and was chewing on the wooden gun stock in his front yard when he pulled up after work.
Thanks for the feedback cflack
