Lol when I was growing up my parents had 3 cherry trees, when my brother's and I got into trouble we got stuck picking cherries. My brother's and I hated picking cherries and we learned real quick to be good when the cherry trees were ready to be picked. I don't like cherry picking at all!!! I don't even like eating them to this day!! Stupid cherry!!!

I hope to go to the range soon to shoot again. Practice lately has been minimal. Let's just say it's the best group I have shot to date with any gun. I shot 6 groups yesterday and every group got progressively better. Four groups were shot with my 275's and the last 2 with my 325's.

I started to come up there yesterday but the wind turned me off. Congrats on your accomplishment! I hope to go to the range soon to shoot again. Practice lately has been minimal. I cleaned my gun a couple of days ago down to bare metal with KG1 and KG12. After about 4 hours and a hundred or so patches later I was satisfied that it was clean. I had a bunch of shots on the barrel since the last clean. I went to the range yesterday and the wind was very minimal. The range is very similar to the Kentucky Challenge as it is protected somewhat by ridges on each side. The gun is a custom built Hankins Custom Smokeless Muzzleloader, built by Jeff Hankins of Dry Ridge, Kentucky. The loads that I am about to mention are safe in my gun, but may not be in yours. Do not replicate the listed loads in your rifle unless your builder or manufacturer says they are safe for your application. I shot 6 groups yesterday. The wind was probably less than 5 mph. Here are all 6 groups: Group 1 71gr I4198 Pittman AccuMax .452 275gr. 3 shots 100 yards. Shot 1 at top, shot 3 at bottom. Group 2 73gr I4198 Pittman AccuMax .452 275 gr 3 shots 100 yards. Group 3 78gr I4198 Pittman AccuMax .452 275 gr 3 shots 100 yards. Group 4 78gr I4198 Pittman AccuMax .452 275gr 3 shots 100 yards. Group 5 93gr I3031 Pittman AccuMax .452 325gr 3 shots 100 yards. Group 6 95gr I3031 Pittman AccuMax .452 325gr 3 shots 100 yards.
